The Council is committed to spending the Measure C money on increasing police services, renovating fire stations, building a new library and improving maintenance services.

Our new main library will be a resource for the entire City. We will also transform the current library site into a central park/plaza.

Construction of the new library will free up the footprint of the current Main Library. The City is planning to remove the existing building and make a central plaza. This is one of three conceptual designs being considered. See others by clicking here.
